MediaWiki has no concept of certain users "owning" certain pages or sets of pages, but for some corporate usages that sort of thing is a necessity - or at least is perceived as one. A number of extensions have moved in to fill that void, including:
- FlaggedRevs / Flagged Revisions / Pending Changes
- Approved Revs
- ArticleProtection
- Access Control List / HaloACL
- SemanticACL
...and, to a lesser extent, other ACL extensions as well (to a lesser extent because for the most part other ACL extensions can restrict editing to user groups, but not to individual users).
This talk will cover general corporate needs, as well as what an ideal solution might look like (unless it exists already!).
