This presentation will provide an overview and introduction to the semantic extensions of the SMW Project which were introduced in 2016 and aim to supplement and enhance Semantic MediaWiki as solution for different use cases.
The extensions are:
- Extension "Semantic Notifications" - Informs about changes to structured data using the Echo (Notifications) extension
- Extension "Semantic External Query Lookup" - Allows to seamlessly integrate query results from an external query source to a local wiki
- Extension "Semantic Scribunto" - Provides service functions to support the Scribunto extension
- Extension "Summary Cards" - Displays content summaries on hovered links
- Extension "Whats Nearby" - Provides geolocation information to templates
