Recommended revisions is a project to try to come up with a consensus-based set of recommended exact versions/revisions for each usable skin and extension, for each (at least LTS) MediaWiki version. The hope is that wiki farms and MediaWiki packages, not to mention regular admins, can use this directory to standardize the software being offered, making for a better and more consistent user experience.
