René Witte is a tenured Associate Professor of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Concordia University in Montréal, QC, Canada. He founded the Semantic Software Lab, which focuses on research and applications of Semantic Computing, in particular Text Mining, Linked Data, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Information Extraction, Intelligent Information Systems, and related technologies.
