In many companies, wikis have established themselves as a standard application for internal knowledge exchange, e.g. for quality manuals or IT documentation. Practice shows that this works very well - under certain conditions. It becomes more difficult when the question of how to deal with multilingualism in Wiki comes up at some point, especially in internationally operating companies. The "recipes" of Wikipedia are only partially transferable here. Why this is the case and which solution approaches are (can be) pursued will be discussed in this talk.
