The Thomas-Krenn-Wiki - more than an encyclopedia
Fore more than ten years, Thomas Krenn AG's customers have been able to retrieve technical server know-how from the most competent source of expertise: directly from the company's employees. With more than 13,800,000 views, the wiki has proven to be a reliable and widely accepted source of knowledge and information. Articles range from installation and configuration instructions to technical details and concrete solutions to specific issues.
In this keynote, Werner Fischer will share his experience on how to make a wiki a success story.
Werner Fischer is one of the protagonists behind the "Thomas-Krenn-Wiki." Having completed his studies of Computer and Media Security at FH Hagenberg in Austria he joined Thomas Krenn AG in 2005, specializing on knowledge transfer since 2014. He is a regular speaker at many conferences like LinuxTag, OSMC, OSDC, LinuxCon, and author for various IT magazines. In his leisure time he enjoys playing the piano and training for a good result at the annual Linz marathon relay.
