All modes take about 35 minutes.

General Bus info

You can buy a one hour ticket for €3 on the bus, valid in all local modes of transport (no trains). Directions for all Dutch modes of transport can be found on 9292.nl.

Public transport from Zoo to Central station

Short walk to the nearest bus stop, longer walk from the station to the restaurant.

Walk to nearest exit of Blijdorp zoo; "Blijdorpplein". The right bus stop is closest to the zoo; be sure to board a bus towards "Rotterdam Centraal"

• Bus 33 (every 10 minutes)

From Central Station by tram (road car) or metro (underground)

The underground station can be easily entered from the bus station. the trams are found on the other side of the station square, in front of the black skyscraper. Be sure to take a tram that goes left 9292.nl directions with tram 4 9292.nl directions with tram 25

From Central Station to restaurant by foot

At Central station busstation, walk past the entrance (leaving it on your left). Straight on (leave the black skyscraper on your right) over 'Delftseplein' street. Go left at the end, then right, continuing your direction on Schiestraat. At the end of the street, you can go left under the tracks. Take the first road crossing on the right. You'll find the restaurant inside the Zadkine building

Public transport from park down the hotel to restaurant

The bus stop is a bit further from the zoo, but the bus stops closer to the restaurant.

• Walk to nearest exit of Blijdorp zoo; "Blijdorpplein".
• Go left, past the front entrance of the Van Der Valk hotel.
• cross the sports fields and go left at the river
• go under two bridges; the second bridge has a staircase up.
• on top of the bridge is a busstop
• Take bus 38 to "Crooswijk" (every 15 minutes)
• Exit at "Pompenburg"
• The restaurant is on the other side of the railroad.

Walking

Join Joris for a walk through the Zoo to the East exit, then a shortcut through Rotterdam to the restaurant. Leaving 16:45. One bright orange umbrella available.
