Discuss Help:Datatype "String"

In the description of this type it states that "You can use some wiki markup inside a string property such as runs of ' for bold and italic, and the markup will change the appearance of the string". I am looking to highlight all instances of properties of type string in my articles but it is unclear the syntax i need to use. Any help is much appreciated.

I am looking for something similar, e.g. show all semantic links in a given color - say in green. Perhaps this would be an incentive for new users to add more properties...I wonder if there is already an extension for this? Thanks. --141.30.193.8 11:42, 23 February 2011 (CET)
