It would be good to have a "Magic words" reference article, mimicing this one.
Searching for factbox magic words is a bit more cumbersome because the "magic word(s)" search term does not bring usefull results like "parser functions". Also still i'm not sure if there is a magic word to hide the all related annotations on property pages.

I think it is not really worth doing so since SMW only provides one behaviour switch called __SHOWFACTBOX__ to be used in special circumstances.

You mean on special page "Browse"? You can have a look at $smwgBrowseFeatures for ways to adapt the output on this page.
