Help talk:Category format

According to the change log, the columns parameter is not available anymore: https://gist.github.com/s7eph4n/277e7804fe04954df7d1e15ae874b0d0

My experience is that it indeed doesn't work anymore for this Result Format. Should this page reflect the loss of the feature, and perhaps a documentation of a CSS alternative?

Is there a way to use format=category without all the entries in the TOC? My TOC has all the Chars from A to Z and the TOC grows up to much.

I've already got this working by editing the category query printer, but I was wondering if there was a way to do this normally. Doing title adoption method listed in the question I asked on the [listwidget format talk page], it correctly changes the name, but it doesn't sort correctly.

Is there a way to set how many pages that are listed?

You can set the maximum number of pages initially listed by using the query parameter limit This parameter defaults to 50 in case nothing is set. Cheers
