SMW+ is a group of SMW-based extensions to MW 1.16.x which have been installed on many wikis, notably including NYC Facets, winner of the NYC Big Data Award. Ontoprise, the company that created this useful set of extensions, is now defunct. (Beyond this group,) there is no maintenance plan to upgrade the extensions beyond MW 1.16; consequently the SMW+ user base is trapped at MW 1.16 version unable to migrate to MW 1.17+ to SMW 1.7+, or SF 2.5+.

Objectives[edit]

Instructions: add/edit as you see fit

Enable SMW+ extensions to operate on MW 1.19 LTS, SMW (1.6 through current) and SF 2.5.x
Integrate with the SMW community's documentation, tools, listserv & chatroom
Establish public Wiki Administration Tool repositories as necessary
Develop & deploy additional extensions for the SMW+ set
Create additional skin options for SMW+ wikis
