Table upgrade hanging with SMW 1.8.0.2 ?

From semantic-mediawiki.org

I replaced the SMW 1.8.0 files with the new ones (SMW 1.8.0.2 and Validator) and hit "Initialise or upgrade tables" in the admin panel. Instead of turning up a list of reports, as I'm used to seeing, the page hangs at the following message:

Setting up standard database configuration for SMW ...

Selected storage engine is "SMWSQLStore" (or an extension thereof)

Checking table `[....]_smw_object_ids` ...
Table already exists, checking structure ...
... changing type of field smw_id from 'INT(8) UNSIGNED NOT NULL KEY AUTO_INCREMENT' to 'INT(8) UNSIGNED NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY AUTO_INCREMENT' ...

Is this supposed to happen?

Hi, It would be great if you could list the database you are using and its version. Thanks

Yes, of course. My specifications are: MySQL 5.1.66-0+squeeze1, Php 5.3.3-7+squeeze14 (cgi-fcgi), MW 1.19.2, SMW 1.8.0.2 (Store3). The database, from what I can see in Phpmyadmin, is just over 800 MB.

I think this is a bug, strange that it is happening on MySQL

A fix was released a SMW 1.8.0.3. Should be soon on SourceForge too. It's there. Cheers

Thanks, the upgrade has worked out. I first ran the upgrade with the package from the link you gave me, but after a successful upgrade, all queries were broken. However, I switched back to 1.8.0.2, downloaded the package from the regular "Download" link and replaced the files for SMW as well as Validator (probably the same version, but who knows). That did the trick. The only new issue is error reports with Special:Types/geographic coordinates.
