Version 1.4.1 of Semantic MediaWiki is a minor update of SMW 1.4.0, fixing a number of open issues and bugs, and providing extended translations.

Upgrading existing installations
Upgrading installations of SMW 1.4.0 requires only to replace the SMW extension files. If some of the fixed bugs have prevented data on your site from being stored properly in SMW 1.4.0, then you can fix those issues by following the Repairing SMW's data instructions.
Upgrading older installations of SMW works as described for SMW 1.4.0.
Extensions that are compatible with SMW 1.4.0 will also work with SMW 1.4.1.
Changes
Improvements of datatype Date
The date-time support in SMW 1.4.0 did not cover some formatting that is common in dates. Most importantly, day and month numbers with leading zeros, and dates with surrounding spaces have have been rejected. Those limitations have now been removed.
Extended translations
As usual, translations have been extended thanks to the BetaWiki project.
Bugfixes
SMW 1.4.1 closes a number of bugs and minor issues that were discovered in SMW 1.4.0
