SMWCon Fall 2011 to be held in Berlin

June 13, 2011. The location and dates of the next SMWCon, or Semantic MediaWiki Conference, have been announced: it will be held at the Free University of Berlin in Berlin, Germany, on September 21-23, 2011. The event will be hosted by the Web-Based Systems Group headed by Dr. Christian Bizer, a group that is responsible for some of the most well-known projects of the Semantic Web, including DBpedia, a project that shares some of the same goals of Semantic MediaWiki. The first day will include tutorials for beginners to SMW, as well as discussions with developers for more advanced users; this will be followed by a two-day regular conference.
